You better hope to God this is a joke.

I love reading your blog. It appeals to my lefty need to be shocked and pissed off throughout the day. ;) It's a good diversion from work & about a zillion times more entertaining than any other blog I've found. I still don't get the point of the 'open threads' you have occasionally tho.

This is going to seem like a spam, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

Strange request, but my friend entered this contest (for DJs) that isn't a talent contest but really a who can get the most people to vote contest because of the way it's set up. I've gotten everyone I know/used to know to vote & he's been in the top 10. Totally deserved, he rocks it at Edmonton parties on the regular.

But really, there's still a month left & that's not going to cut it. We all figure that we're either going to have to start meeting new people, or asking people from unconventional avenues who might be able to vote.

Would you please? You have to register with a valid email, but they are a big company so won't spam. Other than an email confirming my registration, they haven't emailed again.

Thanks if you do! :)

PS. 5 is the highest score! :P :)

There was a pretty funny piece on ThinkProgress a while back about a Republican Dating service, and most of the entries were along this line... it may not be a joke.

That was probably referring to TBogg's evisceration of Hannidate, like this example.

The dating service was for real, but that profile above has to be a parody.

By the way, you have to love the fact that the hot prospect in my previous comment is extremely passionate about opposing abortion, but is "presently training to be a counselor for women at abortion clinics."

I'd pay to see that clash of cultures.
