All of the credit, none of the blame.

I'm guessing the fallout from this will be fast and furious:

Detained family wins reprieve from Ottawa

A nine-year-old Canadian boy and his Iranian parents, who have been held at a secure U.S. immigration detention facility for the past month, will be returning to Canada this week.

Freedom comes in the form of a temporary resident permit granted Monday by Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Diane Finley. The Canadian and U.S. governments are in the process of arranging travel details, such as where the six-month permit will be issued and whether the family will fly directly to Toronto or to a border city like Detroit for a land crossing.

That means Kevin Yourdkhani and his parents, Majid Yourdkhani and Masomeh Alibegi, could be released from the T. Don Hutto Family Detention Center in Taylor, Tex., as early as tonight or tomorrow.

So ... having utterly ignored this story the entire time, how quickly will the Blogging Tories seize on this latest development as proof of Stephen Harper and his loyal Harpies standing up for Canadians, or something equally dishonest and opportunistic?

Place your bets. Come on ... I'll give you odds.
