Ah, the unintentional hilarity.

Blogging Tory "NB Tory Gal" delivers the adorable setup:

At one time being an MP mattered and was looked upon with respect by Canadians as a whole.

Yes, dear ... and then the Stephen Harper Party of Canada came to power and showed us all just how wretchedly stupid and evil MPs could be. Thanks for pointing that out, sweetie.

BONUS DUMBASSITUDE: With nary a trace of irony, NB Tory Gal yammers on mindlessly:

MP’s belonged to Committees and discussed legislation that the government of the day wanted to pass. Committees served useful communication purposes and gave an MP the sense that they were making a difference.

Yes, dear ... about those committees:

'Obstruction' handbook leaked

OTTAWA – The Harper government is being accused of a Machiavellian plot to wreak parliamentary havoc after a secret Tory handbook on obstructing and manipulating Commons committees was leaked to the press.

Now, dear, why don't you go fix yourself a nice warm cup of shut the fuck up, and let the grownups talk for a while? That's a good girl.

Plus their handbooks on obstructing the media, due process of law, Revenue Canada, question period, the navy, logic... They must have a whole fucking library.
