I have been woefully remiss in being so nad-grindingly busy with my cool new job that I have neglected to keep one and all up to date with the ongoing adventures of undischarged bankrupt and financial fugitive Patrick "Super Duper Quintuple Threat Chick Magnet" Ross, so let's all get caught up here.
As of a few days ago, it's been a full 55 months since a judge told Patrick what he owed me and increased the accruing interest on his debt to a whopping five per cent:
Just so you can appreciate the history here, I got my $85,000 judgment against Patrick way back in late 2010, which means that Patrick has been in massive debt to me related to that for more than half of his adult life. Ponder that for a moment before we continue -- Patrick was born in June of 1981 and, as a precocious and arrogant twenty-something, was convinced he was going to be a notable and accomplished online pundit, frequently bragging about his readership and hit count and so on.
Instead, after getting bitch-slapped by the Ontario Superior Court to the tune of a $75,000 judgment and $10K costs award (a default judgment since he was too arrogant to even file a Statement of Defence):
Patrick's personal life and professional ambitions basically went down the toilet, and he has spent the last 15+ years running from accountability and his ever-increasing debt to me -- an amount which almost certainly exceeds $130,000 and grows by several hundred dollars per month. So what has Patrick been up to lately? I'm glad you asked.
One of my spies informs me that, recently, Patrick has resumed his unwatchable and unwatched podcast on YouTube:
Ignore the embarassingly non-existent viewership; concentrate instead on the background, which certainly appears to be in a furnished home rather than a generic hotel room somewhere in northern Alberta, suggesting that perhaps Patrick has quietly relocated back to Casa Ross in Lloydminster, which would have major implications for my SK-based collection against him, so here's where we're going from here.
As before, I invite my coterie of confidential informants to check out any interesting activities at Casa Ross in Lloydminster, especially any evidence of ongoing habitation that might suggest Patrick has quietly moved back there, and particularly if he might have changed jobs and be working in Saskatchewan again. (I will not provide the address of that residence -- anyone who's been following this tedious saga will know what it is.)
The relevant observation here is that Patrick has been moderately active on his YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@dragonfireideas, and all of the backgrounds of his eye-rollingly vacuous podcasts suggest a house, so what I'm after is any evidence that Patrick is back in the Lloyd and, even better, where he works and/or where he hangs out, since I'm in the process of organizing further action against him but I'll keep that to myself for now.
Anyway, for someone who had such glorious ambitions of being some sort of online pundit and influencer those many years ago, it's sad to see how the soon-to-be-45 Patrick Ross managed to self-immolate so thoroughly.
In any event, if you have any further info about Patrick, either email me (canadiancynic@yahoo.ca) or leave a note in the comments.
AFTERSNARK: It's worth reminding everyone of Patrick's arrogance all those many years ago when, after I suggested the possibility of legal action to deal with his obvious and vile defamation, Patrick responded with ... well, you can read for yourself:
If Patrick had simply apologized and deleted said defamation, all of this would have gone away. It didn't work out that way.
P.S. I've mentioned this before but it may be worth repeating. After Patrick's father passed away, one would have thought that that passel of hillbilly siblings (Patrick and three other yokels) would have arranged to execute the will, sell the house and split the proceeds. Either that, or perhaps there would have been an agreement for one of the siblings to assume ownership, move in and compensate the remaining sibs for their share. One way or the other, it would seem that it would be stupid to let the house just sit there without either selling it and without having a family member move in and take over.
However, if Patrick has quietly moved back to the Lloyd and taken over, it would only make sense that either -- as the new owner -- he somehow bought out his siblings share of the residence, or ... well, I'm not sure what the other options are, but it would make little sense for the rest of the family to be satisfied with Patrick living there at no cost while the rest of them get screwed out of their share of the property. After all the time since the passing of Ken Ross (closing in on three years), not having resolved the final disposition of the house seems financially irresponsible. Hence, the interest in my digging into the current title to see what is going on.
I'll keep you posted.
JUST NOW, one of my Lloyd-based confidential informants sends me a set of pics from a couple weeks back, including this one:
This picture is hugely informational since it shows, first, that the storage trailer that had been clogging the driveway for all those many months is gone (suggesting the end of cleaning out that property), and there are now two vehicles in the driveway (with another one on the street), strongly suggesting that someone has finally moved in.
Based on what I've heard before, it's most likely that one of Patrick's sisters is the new homeowner, and that Patrick is perhaps crashing there on an occasional basis. All of this is grist for yet more investigation to figure out who's living there now, and if that includes Patrick.
Once again, stay tuned.

I'd forgotten about Patrick so I popped over to Twitter to see what he's been up to on his "Outlaw Tory" account. It's embarrassing. You'd never guess that he was in his mid-40's, his entire output seems like an immature teenager who's trying to impress his friends about what a badass he is by talking smack about people you don't even know.
He doesn't seem to be saying anything about you lately, so maybe that's a good thing.
Anon @ 9:44 AM: I can't remember the last time I bothered to check Patrick's "Outlaw Tory" account since it's pretty much exactly as you describe it -- lots of childish defamation and misogyny. But if anyone runs across anything published recently by Patrick related to me, please take a screenshot and pass it on to me, since I have been assured that that sort of ongoing public denigration is legally valuable for me in demonstrating malice in any potential legal actions in the future.
