I've seen the Proudish Boys spreading this misinformation for months on FB. Of course the alt-right twits have been slowly amplifying that. It was only a matter of time until Rebel would spread FUD.
What took them so long? I recall comments that the problems at residential schools were overblown back in the 90s.
