Tom Watson it's been reported that Jon Swift has passed away. Evidently he suffered a massive stroke in the wake of two aortic aneurisms. The brilliant parodic flair that he brought to his work set him in the uppermost tier of political thinkerers. Farewell Mr Swift, you'll be missed.
