Pay attention ...

... because I'm only going to explain this once.

I just checked the CC HQ mailbox earlier today. Fuck. I'm gonna need more bricks.

OK, FINE: PSA's is funnier.

OH, DEAR. Isn't this an amusing development?

  2. Well, there better not have been anything down there marked "Fragile."

  3. Is that your brick or did you steal it?

  4. I bet you any money Steve Janke's searching every nook and cranny of the criminal code in an effort to prove that you broke the law.

Screw him. The next 10-percenter I get, I'm doing the exact same thing.

  5. if enough handy bricks get delivered they can build themselves an addition on their sandbox.

  6. Why won't any Con MP send me a 10-percenter? Are we chopped liver over here in Vancouver-Centre? Do we wear the wrong deodorant? IS it because we have Starbucks and their evul librul lattes located kitty-corner to each other at Robson & Thurlow? We always miss out on alllll the fun. ;-)

i'd always figuered "pretty shaved ape" was cockney for "public service announcement".

  13. As the only girl on the blog, I think it's absolutely shameful that I've never received one of Big Daddy's ten-percent love notes ...

Hmmmm, maybe they don't swing that way. Kinky.

  14. My MP is a Librul, so I won't be getting any ten-percent billet doux. But I like that idea so much that I may have to go into a part of town that has a ReformaTory MP to 'borrow' a few.

You will if there is a ghost of a chance of your MP being defeated by a CPC candidate. The whole stink in this is that MP's can send these to 10% of the residents in any riding, not necessarily their own.

The gist of the program is all MPs can send flyers to 10 per cent of constituents in their own or any riding, with various rules applying on the number and timing. Postage is free and the only stipulation is the return addressee must be an MP and not, for example, the Conservative Research Group, the team within Conservative headquarters in Ottawa that tabulates lists of suggested ridings for its MPs.

  16. DAMN YOU CANADIAN CYNIC!!!!!

You stole my idea, I have been waiting to get one those 10%'ers, by for some reason, the CPC isn't blanketting Iggy's riding.

    Way to go guy!!!

  17. Sadly, the real victims here are the poor letter carriers. Maybe you should have included a little tear-off envelope on the front with a $5 bill in it.

  21. OMG! That is fucking brilliant!

I rarely get their shit in the mail (I'm in Victoria, BC). When I do, I usually send them random coupons, just to make 'em wonder if there's any particular point behind them. But this is genius! I gotta stock up on bricks!

  22. Bricks, cinder blocks, dumb-bells, bag of hammers,... but no poo!!!

  23. I think I have an old anchor in storage,...

  24. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Priceless.

  25. "Bricks, cinder blocks, dumb-bells, bag of hammers..."

Wait, are you describing the Conservative party members, or what we should send them?

  26. Please don't do this. It's a funny post, but it is punishing the wrong people; us! We pay for the shipping of your bricks, not the CPC.
