Just checking in, 10-4.
A lull in the busy, so a quick progress report -- kat is back from vet, with a couple expensive holes in her and an Elizabethan collar that I'm sure can pick up shortwave radio from Dubai. She should recover quickly; my bank account might take a little longer.
Over and out.
Watch out for the Ming vase. They tend to go for that first. Anything else is just a bonus. I speak from experience...
ReplyDeleteGood to hear kat can has recuvry.
ReplyDeleteI have one who's the colour of a puck, named Puck, and another the colour of a black and white cow, named Daisy.
Good luck, kat.
ReplyDeleteGlad kitty's going to be OK.
ReplyDeleteI can say this only because I've been there and got the t-shirt, but few things funnier than a cat dealing with an Elizabethan collar.
ReplyDeleteGlad s/he's ok and can empathize with the hit in the pocketbook.
Maybe Kitty-Kat needs a little feline friend to keep her company?;)
ReplyDeleteI hope she has a quick recovery. My pets, both cats & dogs, feel her pain about The Elizabethan Collar.
Ah, I am indeed glad Kat is well. As for the collar, Kat should wear it proudly. It speaks volumes and it may be the only route to true domestication of a Kritter that isn't really sure it needs two legged companions.
ReplyDeleteHope all works out well in the end... or wherever the wounds may be.
Wounded wallets on the other hand...
Sending best wishes for kat the cat's speedy recovery. Those Satellite/Elizabethan collars are something else. I know my guy felt terribly humiliated by the experience.
ReplyDeleteGlad kat's on the way to recovery, albeit via the path of utter humiliation! Best wishes to you, your kitty, and your poor ailing wallet.
