America's strength is found in the spirit and character of our people. During National Character Counts Week, we renew our commitment to instilling values in our young people and to encouraging all Americans to remember the importance of good character.
BTW, am I the only one who finds the inclusion of "patriotism" in his list of celebrated values a little bit creepy? Completely expected coming from King George, Dear Leader of the Free World, but creepy nonetheless.
Too easy. Do we get bonus points for pointing out multiple sources of irony within that single proclamation?
