They are arguing about having 9 Ottawa witnesses; the Crown wants to prove it was not a peaceful protest, Defence has admitted the essential elements of mischief are made out. Blimey, is that an admission of guilt? Or just saying that the convoy was illegal but not that Lich and Barber should be blamed?
Criminologist @MichaelKempa1 says it's about how far the Charter rights to assembly and protest go; what are the reasonable limits and did Lich/Barber go beyond that?
Interesting. By the way Paul Champ says the defence lawyers are top notch lawyers.
