Currently, Canadian wingnuts furious -- livid, I tell you!!! -- with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, accusing him of dictatorial violation of their rights under Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, a document that exists only due to the tireless efforts of (*checks notes*) Justin's father, Pierre Elliott Trudeau.

Well - actually they’re apparently furious that somehow the law of today violates the Magna Carta … or something equally incoherent.
ReplyDeleteI believe many of them are also very worried about the government infringing on their Second Amendment rights under the American constitution.
ReplyDeleteWith Magna Carta, the king agreed to interfere less in the activities of a bunch of rebellious robber barons. I can see how this might appeal to a band of grifters flying the Freedumb flag.
