I was outraged with the GOP when after Bill Clinton but when you take politics out of the equation, what he did was much more serious. He lied under oath in a deposition in the Paula Jones lawsuit (which was a sexual harassment lawsuit at that). I'm not sure that that amounted to a "high crime or misdemeanor" but it took the personal misconduct to a very different level.
