(CC NEWS) -- In a somewhat surprising development, Canada's reputation for providing affordable child care under the allegedly "pro-family", "pro-child" Conservative government of Stephen Harper has tanked, and now sits at the bottom of a collection of 25 developed countries, behind even the United States.
