Dear SUZANNE: Fucking shut the fuck up.

Blogging Tory and totally batshit crazy fetus fetishist SUZANNE continues to lie pathologically:

So they investigate and find that they don't like the people who commissioned and conducted the poll.

Um ... no, SUZANNE, you utter douchebag, that's not the issue here. The issue -- as JJ and others have explained in horrific detail -- is that the aforementioned polling company has no credibility whatsoever, given that it was utterly invisible on the Internet until recently, and that it didn't even have its own domain until yesterday:

Registered through: GoDaddy.com, Inc. (http://www.godaddy.com)
Domain Name: KLRVURESEARCH.COM
Created on: 24-Jul-08
Expires on: 24-Jul-09
Last Updated on: 24-Jul-08

and that, curiously, the domain was registered for only one year, which is passing strange for a company that plans on having a long-term presence and wants to be taken seriously, and that that web site's content appears to have been frantically ripped off, and bunches of other reasons, SUZANNE, you stupid cunt, but none of that appears to interest you since you choose to misrepresent and outright ignore everything that's been posted over at JJ's and lie about all of the evidence that's been presented.

Well, fuck you, SUZANNE.

These people have been flat-out busted, and you're just too much of a pants-pissing whiner to accept that. Their dishonesty and douchebaggery is now out there for everyone to see, so you can keep moaning and bleating all you want, but it won't save these folks from the hideous embarrassment and humiliation they've inflicted on themselves.

Now please go back to your fetuses, SUZANNE -- this discussion is for the grown-ups.

OH, FOR FUCK'S SAKE! If you needed any more proof that SUZANNE is hilariously self-absorbed, you should notice that she has herself on her own blogroll. Words fail me.

WHOOPS, HOLD ON THERE. I have a bit of backtracking to do -- I hadn't noticed that there are two domain names of interest here. There's klrvuresearch.com:

Registered through: GoDaddy.com, Inc. (http://www.godaddy.com)
Domain Name: KLRVURESEARCH.COM
Created on: 24-Jul-08
Expires on: 24-Jul-09
Last Updated on: 24-Jul-08

and there's klrvu-research.com:

Registered through: GoDaddy.com, Inc. (http://www.godaddy.com)
Domain Name: KLRVU-RESEARCH.COM
Created on: 20-Jul-08
Expires on: 20-Jul-10
Last Updated on: 20-Jul-08

both of which are suspiciously recent. I'm not sure what's happening here, but it's time for lunch so I'm not going to worry about it right this minute.

HEH
. The fact that KLR Vu stole the content of their spanking new web site is obvious from the fact that they invariably use the American spelling of "neighbor." That's what happens when you're in a rush, isn't it?

This gets better and better ... At the bottom of KLRVU's sadly misspelled "Why Particpate?" page is a link stating that KLRVU is a member of MRIA Canada, the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association.

Except - ooopsie - if you search MRIA's corporate membership directory for KLRVU, "No Match" is found. How odd.

If you know, by odd, I actually mean what a pathological bunch of lying fuckwits.

This will prolly come off as Americanocentric but that's what happens when you're put through the grist mill of the American public school system.

But anyway

There is another way to spell neighbor?

Thanks for picking this up, CC!

Ya know, when I first started checking out "KLRVU/KlrVu/klrvu" or whatever they call themselves today, I wasn't expecting anything like this. I was just looking for a link between Klrvu and the anti-choice movement, which would obviously call the poll into question. I wasn't expecting to find that the poll company itself would be in question.

Talk about an embarrassment of riches. Rich for us, embarrassing for them.

I always use American spellings myself, simply because no one has been able to demonstrate why I should use British spellings and give employment to all those homeless u's when they serve me no useful purpose.

You are being much too kind to HER FECUNDITY, though. She's not stupid, she's deliberately vicious.

Chimera is exactly right ... SUZANNE is tthe worst type of dishonest. She deliberately skews an opponent's position and then proceeds to argue endlessly from that point, regardless of how many times she is corrected.

And who does that remind you of, CC?

I'll just bet that KLRVURESEARCH.COM was grabbed yesterday to prevent a Rick Mercer style hijacking by one of 'teh left'. Seems like a lot of damage control for a poll everyone agrees is shiite.

Something else about this MASSIVE poll bugged me, so I did a little back-of-an-envelope calculation here, and as a result I'd like to know where the stated 1.5% margin of error came from. Since the margin of error calculation for a 95% (19 out of 20) confidence interval is calculated with:

M = 1.96 * sqrt( (p * (1-p) / N )

where p is the result of the poll (55%) and N is the sample size (13000), the result of the calculation as far as I can tell is a margin of error of around 0.8%. To get a margin of error of 1.5%, as far as I can tell, you'd use a sample population of about 4500.

I'm only going on some first-year stats stuff though, done quite a number of years ago. Anyone with more knowledge in this area care to check my work?

If I'm correct in my calculations, the implication is that we're dealing with a polling firm that doesn't even know how to calculate margin of error. Maybe that's why they've got such a low-rent web presence and no phone number of their own: because they suck.

(Alternate theory: they also plagiarized the margin of error from SurveyInfo USA.)
