Now that's grammar, baby.

Is English Dr. Roy's first language?

The grits new policy on housing for the poor seems to endorse vouchers, (because of listen for it) the inefficiency of direct state intervention. I like what how peter Shawn Taylor says the grits should continue on this path and allow vouchers instead of a number of nanny state ideas like childcare for instance.

And is he actually a doctor or does he just play one inside his head? These are serious questions, people - I'm the new girl, remember?

  8. No, English is not his first language. And yes, he's a neurosurgeon in Toronto and Montreal.

  10. I'm surprised that the good doctor is an actual neurosurgeon, considering he's a total fucking retard. And people actually let him cut into them? Man, that's scary.

  11. I Googled the good doctor and, according to his homepage (www.ciphermedia.com/roy/), he's actually an endocrinologist. Either way, I wouldn't want him anywhere near my insides ... I like everything right where it is.

    We're counting self-administered lobotomies now?

Okay, then, in that case, he's a neurosurgeon.

  18. According to the Collège des médecins du Québec the doctor specialises in endocrinology and internal medicine, which is the non-surgical treatment and diagnosis of internal health issues. So, it's neither "neuro" nor is it "surgery."

Figures the ol' genocide RightGirl would lie about it.

...What is she doing out her cage, anyway?

As to the good Doctor's writing -- it's always read to me to be more of a stream-of-consciousness type thing than anything else. Kinda like the ramblings of a street corner crazy, but without the clarity.
