He's gorgeous. Looks like my Dinah who was named for Alice's cat because she used to spend a lot of time sniffing at holes. If he's a loving, affectionate, loyal type, maybe Samwise?
How about Calix (which means handsome)? It seems to fit.
I read a book several years back in which a family had a cat they called S.O.B. because the childrens' father always referred to him as 'That Son Of A Bitching cat'.
Maybe S.O.B?
He also looks rather dignified, so perhaps 'Sebastian'?
I like the 'Samwise' suggestion too.
That reminds me...my uncle used to have a cat he called 'Chance'. He said it fit because if the cat shit in his shoes one more time there was a CHANCE he'd wake up with my uncle's foot in his fuzzy ass.
That's just cruel, you know.
