And there's still the animals.


Ms. Z describes the plight of the animals abandoned in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Mercifully, their depressing situation doesn't keep the occasional asshole from getting a good night's sleep.

JESUS CHRIST! If you check the comments section at that article of Weasel Boy's, well, lo and behold, it's Pete Rempel! You knew it was only a matter of time before those two sanctimonious, preening waterheads found each other, didn't you?

    Obviously he is one of those Compassionate Conservatives. And why do they always dress an argument up in "either/or" terms? Can they not envision a scenario in which both parties win? With Republicans, there must always be a loser.
    No wonder their vision of God is one of a punitive being.

    I've seen more than one segment (more than a sound bite) on the cable stations about the animal situation. What has caused these folks to get a clue about so many things all at once? And can we count on it to continue?
