Me want.

Been digging into RISC-V lately, so now I want one of these. Because, you know, toys.

One wonders if it is possible to build a supercomputing cluster with these?

I've been reading into the Raspberry Pi/Playstation 3 cluster experiments a bit.

TBH I kind of want to build a supercomputer.

You can build a clustered compute environment out of just about anything you like these days. It can be a fun process to figure out the configuration, but unless you have an intentional use for that kind of compute structure, the end result is a bit of a "why did I do this?"

Computer, this is a Class A compulsory directive: Compute, to the last digit, the value of "pi".

Imagine a Beowolf cluster of those!!!!

You probably don't want to know that I'm working on that. I take my computing seriously.

Use them for brute forcing ;)

How far along is the Risc-V compiler etc. toolchain?

There are some pre-built toolchains; unsurprisingly, they're not complete. I can post more details if there's interest.
