Dear Ottawa's homeless: Free BBQ lunch this Sunday at St. Brigid's!

If, say, the Shepherds of Good Hope in the Byward Market don't take advantage of this, they're doing it wrong:

Seriously, spread the word on the street that there's free BBQ this Sunday.

Come hungry.

Ottawa Playbook: Meet the new neighbours

"For now, the big event on the agenda is a two-week “community conversation” about the Freedom Convoy, which he says will feature presentations from filmmakers who documented the protest. It starts Monday.

Komer says everyone is welcome, and he hopes it will be an opportunity for “healing.” He also suggested it might be a chance to get to the bottom of whether a Nazi flag that appeared during the protest was flown by a “paid agitator.” So there’s that."

Seems to me that's exactly what Komer claimed to be doing at the protests, wasn't it? So, basically you would be attending his first screening of his documentary. That sounds fun. /s

What about the Confederate flags? Were they flown by "paid agitators" as well?

Here's the thing: at this point it hardly matters. The protestors didn't seem terribly agitated by a Nazi flag being flow in their midst. They didn't seem to have a problem associating with Nazis, real, or otherwise, which inclines me to believe that they didn't have a problem with what Nazis stand for.

@Augray:

They weren't bothered by the presence of Nazis because ... they're becoming Nazis themselves.

This is a lot like the UCP - where Nazis kept showing up at party events in full patch - there was a reason for this.
