JUXTAPOSE!

This would be Rebel News suggesting that, if a media outlet gets a story wrong, they have a moral and ethical responsibility to issue a retraction and correction:

No, seriously, they're actually insisting that journalists have an obligation to the truth.

You can't make this stuff up.

What I love is their gleeful insistence that CBC was "forced to withdraw" their story. Uh...no. The CBC corrected information on the SOURCING of the story. They did it promptly and publicly when the need for correction was brought to their attention.
Correcting an error and publishing a more accurate version? No wonder the Rebel finds the concept utterly baffling.
Incidentally, the "reporter" here is Ezra's new francophone Bimbette Blonde, who, the Rebel claimed, was "shot a point blank range with a riot gun". She was actually grazed by a tear gas cannister (after three consecutive days of instruction by police to vacate the area.)
So far, as far as I know, the Rebel has not published a correction.

The only way that Ezra ever publishes a correction is after a decade-long lawsuit that he loses.
