It’s almost as if the right has no logical consistency, actual principles or beliefs, and only care about doing/saying/believing whatever they need to to keep their boots on the neck of “others”. Hopefully the media wakes the hell up and starts calling this what it really is, pro-fascist and anti-democracy sentiment.

They don't.

I've heard Gérard Deltell (and much of the Conservative coterie) pimping the "Freedum convoy" as some kind of noble cause.
There is something surreal about the elected opposition cheering on an insurrection.

When pointed out that they wanted swift and brutal action during train blockades. The Conservative response to their illogical position is normally to stick their fingers into their ears and utter (in their best Marsha imitation) "Trudeau, Trudeau, Trudeau".

Canadian Conservatism should really be labelled a mental illness.

I don't like the thought of labelling a political ideology "mental illness" or "mental disorder", because that's the type of thing I've seen them say on places like Twitter and Facebook with regards to liberalism.

What the CPC is practicing these days (and for a long while) isn't anything resembling conservatism. At best, it's reactionary bullshit, and an ethos that's reduced to, "If it pisses off my opponents, then that's all that matters, and if it angers up the blood in my supporters and causes them to lose their minds at the slightest inconvenience, all the better".

It doesn't matter if it's something that actually helps others, so long as it makes the right people angry. Besides, helping others sounds like something a commie Marxist pinko socialist would do, and they can't have that!
