It's hard to believe ...

... that Michelle Rempel could be a more vile, despicable, worthless piece of trailer trash than Sheila Gunn Reid but ... there it is.

MY APOLOGIES ... I completely overlooked Jacqui Delaney and Alex Pierson as equally worthless piles of human garbage. Man, it's hard to keep up. I need to make a list.

Fuck you, Jack Dorsey.

Trumpist lawyer L. Lin Wood is apparently publicly accusing the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court of being a pedophile and trafficking in children:

Meanwhile, I was permanently suspended from Twitter for referring to vile piece of human garbage Senator Denise Batters as a "twatwaffle,"

Fuck you, Jack Dorsey, you piece of trash.

There's stupid, there's burning stupid, and there's Jacqui Delaney.

Here's a thought, Jacqui ... maybe there's a difference because wearing blackface doesn't pose a risk of spreading a possibly fatal coronavirus infection.

Dumbass.

A modest proposal.

Rather than demanding that Rod Phillips resign, I think it would be more appropriate for him to stand on the lawn at Queens Park, and for every family in Ontario that lost a loved one to COVID-19 to be allowed to kick him, once, in the nads.

But that's just me.

BONUS TRACK: It's awesome watching privileged white men (John Tory, Jim Watson) make excuses for another privileged white man. It's almost like there's a club or something.

PREDICTION: The Rod Phillips "Distraction" Strategem

Rather than having his sorry ass fired publicly, world traveller Rod Phillips will be allowed to step down gracefully, nobly announcing that he does not want to be a "distraction" to the vitally important work being done by Premier and former drug dealer Doug Ford.

Let's watch.

AFTERSNARK: It's worth noting the sleaziness with which Phillips tried to mislead people as to his departure date. In earlier explanations, Phillips clearly tried to give the impression that he was on his way "immediately" after the end of the legislative session that ended Dec 8:

It was only later that Phillips clarified that his definition of "immediately" differs from everyone else's:

As they say, it's not the crime, it's the eventual unraveling of the coverup that gets you.

Wednesday, December 30, 2020

Well, that's awkward.

So, how's that "COVID-19 is no big deal" working out for you?

Whoopsie ...

A modest suggestion to every human being on the planet.

Do not describe anything as "unacceptable" if, in the end, you're prepared to accept it.

Doug Ford will know what I mean:

P.S. Numerous people are demanding that Rod Phillips resign because of his horrifically poor judgment. That is not the right call; he should resign because of the deception involved in his so obviously trying to mislead everyone as to where he was for days on his Twitter stream.

This was not a "mistake"; this was deliberate deception and dishonesty by a Minister of the Government of Ontario. And, as we all know, he will pay absolutely no price for it.

Rebel News: Privatize the loan, and socialize the repayments.

While there is so, so much to say about Ezra Levant's recent beg-a-thon to pay off some "unexpected" call-ins of loans, there are two really fundamental observations that I don't think are getting anywhere near the attention they deserve.

First, as documented in numerous places, Rebel News -- back in Dec of 2017 and Jan of 2018 -- borrowed a total of $380,000, in two separate payments; a Rebel News video even reproduced part of the promissory note for one of these loans, where you can clearly see the amount of $185,000 (the other being for $195,000, for a total of $380,000):

So far, so good, but here's the first place it gets a bit strange. First, in his beg-a-thon, Ezra is asking for, well, the entire original amounts of the loans from three years ago:

which means (and make sure you understand this) that, over the three years of these two loans, Ezra has paid off precisely none of the principal. None. Zero. Squat. Having borrowed $380,000 almost three years ago, Ezra is now desperately asking for assistance to pay off the remaining principal of ... $380,000.

In other words, for three years, Ezra/Rebel News has -- according to Ezra's own admission -- paid at most the monthly interest on all that money. The principal has not decreased at all, and if I were a potential donor to Rebel, I might be at least a wee bit curious as to how one borrows almost $400,000, then structures the repayments to not make even the slightest dent in the principal in three years. But it doesn't end there.

If Ezra has been making minimal monthly payments all this time, one would think he still has a sizable chunk of that original $380,000 lying around, and he might even use some of that to help out with the upcoming payment. Astonishingly, that is clearly not happening since, as you can see below, the original fundraiser goal was, incredibly, the entire outstanding amount of $380,000!

Make sure you understand what Ezra is doing here. After borrowing $380,000 three years ago, and apparently repaying the absolute minimum over those three years, he is openly asking the gullible rubes of "Rebel Nation" to cover the entire upcoming payments. That is, while asking the mouth-breathing yobs that are his groupies to hand over hundreds of thousands of dollars to bail him out, Ezra himself is contributing absolutely nothing.

What genius. What brilliance. Really, you have to give Ezra credit for knowing how to milk the stupidest human beings in Canada for all they've got, while risking none of his own capital. It is truly spectacular, and inspires a paraphrase that could very well be the new working slogan of Rebel News:

Privatize the loan, and socialize the repayments.

P.S. Check back shortly for parts 2 and 3 of this increasingly bizarre story.

It's time for a Trump fellatio retrospective, Canadianally speaking.

Given the unmitigated disaster that has been the Trump administration:

I think it would entertaining to look back at all of the Canadian wankers, hacks and pandering sycophants that slobbered all over Trump in the early days.

The most obvious example is the utterly unprincipled convicted felon Conrad Black, for who this will never stop being funny:

Next, it's no secret that Ontario premier Doug Ford has repeatedly creamed his Underoos over Trump:

And apart from the numerous political suck-ups, dare we even start in on the countless Canadian journalistic gasbags who fawned over Trump for the last few years? Really, someone needs to make a list.

There's a special place in hell for Jack Dorsey.

Seriously, there is an especially sizzling corner of hell reserved for Twitter's Jack Dorsey, who is responsible for unleashing the evil that is Donald Trump and Marco Rubio on the world, and giving them a platform to spew their vileness.

BREAKING!

Responding to the deliberate bomb attack in Nashville, U.S. President Donald Trump insists there are fine car bombs "on both sides."

"We've established what you are, now we're just haggling over the price."

Oh, *sigh* ... a number of people have dropped me a note, mentioning one Ezra Levant's latest plaintive Rebel News beg-a-thon, asking whether I'd write something about it. Well ... yes and no. If Ezra constantly needs to plead for money because he simply can't attract any advertisers due to Rebel's embarrassing toxicity, that's a situation of his own making, but I want to point out the howling hypocrisy contained in one paragraph of that begathon:

This is a position Ezra has mentioned many, many, many times, the obvious implication being that he and his boutique media outlet are so stunningly, extraordinarily impartial and have such integrity that they would never consider selling out for money in exchange for giving anyone pandering, sycophantic media coverage.

If only that were the case.

In fact, it appears that Rebel News is more than happy to sell itself (and its internal mailing list for political solicitation), as long as you have the dosh and the right ideological bent. Here, let me provide an example or two.

(Amusingly, I am on Rebel News' mailing list, so I am informed whenever Rebel issues a blast of "sponsored content" to members of that list -- "sponsored content" being, one assumes, advertising or positive press coverage in exchange for handing over actual cash for use of the mailing list. In other words, while nobly insisting it will take no money from evil libtards like Justin Trudeau in exchange for glowing coverage, Rebel News is more than happy to do exactly that from conservatives. Oh, right, the examples.)

From back in February, here's Ezra interviewing Conservative leadership long shot Dr. Leslyn Lewis:

OK, that's fine, perfectly respectable ... you want the opinions of a leadership contender. But, weirdly, only a few months later, I received the following mailing list blast:

wherein one reads, a bit further down:

The implication seems fairly clear: Lewis had paid money to rent Rebel News' mailing list for the purpose of political solicitation in preparation for the leadership contest. This is followed the very next day by another mailing list blast:

Note how this subsequent blast is not listed as sponsored content; it's just a regular "Rebel Buzz" dump, suggesting that, having taken on Lewis as a paying "sponsor", they're now giving her free and positive press coverage as if she's a regular news item. How convenient for both sides.

The capper here is that, after the leadership race went to Erin O'Toole, rather than cover that as the actual story, we have (surprise! surprise!) Rebel's Sheila Gunn Reid still gushing over (Rebel News sponsor) Lewis as a "rising star":

Money well spent, it would seem.

As another shorter example, here's an Aug 14, 2020 Rebel News piece slobbering all over Ontario's new, loony right wing party "New Blue":

followed only days later by (you guessed it) sponsored content from the very same folks:

Understand one thing -- if Rebel News wants to exchange positive political coverage in exchange for cold, hard cash, that is entirely their right. But it's more than a wee bit hypocritical to yammer on and on and tediously on about how one refuses to compromise one's journalistic standards (Ed. -- let's drop the sarcasm here) with respect to Justin Trudeau, when you're more than happy to whore yourself out elsewhere.

That's just ... tacky.

JUXTAPOSE!

Also MAGA: "Where's my COVID-19 stimulus cheque? We're hurting here!!"

JUXTAPOSE!

This is the level of shrieking, mouth-breathing, dumbass fucking stupid we're dealing with here. For weeks now, numerous right-wing Canadian trolls have been -- based on zero evidence -- howling about how Justin Trudeau has allegedly dropped the ball on getting enough vaccine.

Now that it's obvious we're going to have more than enough, look how the dumbfuck stupid complaining suddenly reverses itself:

In other words, Canada's dumbass trolls have pivoted frantically from "Justin didn't get enough vaccine for all of us!" to "Justin ordered so much vaccine, we're hoarding it to the detriment of other countries!"

Christ, what dumbass dumbfuckery. This is so tiring.

Blaming Nashville on BLM/Antifa/libtards in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... there we go ...

JUXTAPOSE!

Alberta: "Canada doesn't respect us, we need to separate! Wexit! We can look after ourselves!"

Also Alberta: "Why aren't we on the priority list for Canada's vaccines?"

JUXTAPOSE!

This is Kelly Loeffler ... she is a Republican, whose party doesn't want to send $600 to people who can't afford food or rent right now:

By the way, this is just one of Kelly Loeffler's houses:

But remember, you don't deserve that $600.

Grifters gonna grift: Rebel News episode 3,624.

As regular visitors will already know, Ezra Levant's 2016 defamation action against me is still active and, based on how this is dragging out, I expect this to go to trial sometime in early 2027. In the meantime, an anonymous soul has gifted me with the most delightful bit of evidence that I should be able to use against Ezra and his bloviating gasbag of a lawyer. Let me elaborate.

As I explained in an earlier post (and will recap here), one of the absolutely fundamental requirements for something to be considered legally defamatory in Canada is that (and I am paraphrasing) what is uttered or published must be likely to lower the reputation of the plaintiff in the eyes of reasonable and right-thinking people. Let's expand on that just a bit.

What the above means is that what is published must, in some way, injure or damage the reputation of the plaintiff and, in most cases, this is not that much of an issue. Here's an example. Say I publicly accuse you of being an alcoholic. Almost everyone would agree that that sort of utterance would lower your reputation in the eyes of the community, and would therefore, by definition, constitute defamation. That's not really debatable.

However (and here is the massive however), if you already have a reputation as an alcoholic, then your reputation cannot possibly be damaged by simply pointing that out. Put another way, if one were to ask around about you, and the vast majority responded, "That guy? Yeah, he's an alcoholic," then by definition you have a reputation as an alcoholic and there is no defamation. None. See how that works? And why is this useful to know?

Because the bedrock basis of Ezra's case against me involves insisting that describing him as a "grifter" is defamatory (and I suspect most of you can see where this is going). Normally, calling someone a grifter publicly would be considered defamation, and would allow an action to proceed. However (and here's the important part), that doesn't count if you already have precisely that reputation. In other words, if one were to canvass reasonable and right-thinking members of the community, and dozens, if not hundreds, of them said, "Ezra? Jesus, that guy is a grifter," well, that pretty much puts an end to the action right there. If you can show example after example after example after example after example of various people confirming that part of Ezra's reputation, then, quite simply, according to black-and-white Canadian law, he has no case.

All of the above is why, a while back, I did a quick survey of Twitter to collect examples of exactly this, and I published them back here. As you can appreciate, I think I've more than established the public reputation of both Rebel News and Ezra Levant as icons of griftiness, which is all I am required to do to have this case stuffed through a woodchipper when it gets to court. So what is this latest delightful gift of which I speak? I'm glad you asked.

A helpful reader just pointed me at a delicious article in (of all places) "The Daily Stormer," a rancid publication described by Wikipedia as "an American far-right neo-Nazi, white supremacist, misogynist, and Holocaust denial commentary and message board website." So what exactly does the Daily Stormer have to say that I would find useful? Oh, my.

As you can see by the title of this June, 2019 online article (and no, I'm not going to link to it), DS's Andrew Anglin openly takes a shot at what he describes as the "Grift Right":

And that's when it gets relevant as, not far into the article, Anglin goes after what and who he considers the tippy-top of the right-wing grift iceberg. I give you:

"Grift Base Alpha." My God, could it get any funnier, other than Anglin expanding on this by describing Ezra's faux media outlet as "an assembly line" of grift.

Not content to leave it at that, Anglin introduces the alleged stars of Rebel Media's grift assembly line. Here's Gavin McInnes:

Then of course, there is Lauren Southern:

Finally, we have the most egregious griftoid of all, Laura Loomer:

with Anglin taking one more shot at Ezra's Rebel Media, describing it as a "literal grifter factory." Stealing shamelessly from an episode of Seinfeld, "That's gold, Jerry. Gold!"

Seriously, if one wanted to establish to the Court the reputation of one Ezra Levant as a grifter, one could not do any better than another right-wing forum describing Ezra's media outlet as "Grift Base Alpha" and a "literal grifter factory." I swear, with just that one article, I might not even need those dozens and dozens of examples from Twitter.

Thank you, anonymous reader ... I owe you a martini.

Jesus Christ ... the burning stupid.

If Charlie Kirk were any dumber, he'd be Sheila Gunn Reid.

AFERSNARK: Just in case someone as intellectually crippled as Sheila, or Lorrie Goldstein, or David Menzies, shows up and doesn't understand how to interpret the above idiocy:

  • Joe Biden won LA County, with a population of 10.4 million
  • Donald Trump won Loving County, Texas, with a population of 169

Are we good here?

The continuing saga of Patrick Ross.

As a number of people have asked me privately what is happening with respect to Patrick Ross -- the trustee-less undischarged bankrupt who owes me over $100,000 -- I will be brief and mention only one recent development.

Over the last several months, Patrick lost three different actions against me trying to avoid the enforcement of my judgment from back in 2010 and, as a result of his losses, he was sanctioned with total costs of $2,250, which he was ordered in every case to turn over "forthwith." To no one's surprise, he has refused.

After being more than patient with Patrick, I gave him until December 15, 2020 (three days ago) to notify my lawyer about his plan for payment of those costs (relevant snippet below):

Again, to no one's surprise, Patrick has not responded, whereupon you can read from the above that we will be starting enforcement steps against him, which I understand might very well involve provincial Sheriffs doing the enforcement in person.

It is unfortunate that it has come to this, but this is the road Patrick has chosen.

CLARIFICATION: I've heard from a couple people, confused as to how I would be allowed to enforce my original judgment against Patrick while he is technically still in bankruptcy, so I will explain.

Normally, someone who has filed for bankruptcy is protected against any debt collection attempts by an associated "stay of proceedings," which prevents creditors from launching any collection actions. Long story short ... Patrick has for so long ignored his basic obligations as a bankrupt (including not making the monthly payments required by his conditional discharge) that I successfully filed to have the stay of proceedings against him lifted.

To put this in simple terms, Patrick is living in the worst of all possible worlds -- he is still bankrupt and subject to all of the restrictions of bankruptcy, but he is no longer protected by bankruptcy, allowing me to begin the enforcement of the full amount of my original 2010 judgment.

I trust that clears things up.

BONUS TRACK: While I'm trying very hard to refrain from any personal references, I am moderately amused that the man who was found to have defamed me so horrifically and maliciously that I was awarded a $75,000 judgment and $10,000 in costs is now, on social media, sanctimoniously berating people for "name-calling."

Savour the irony.

This is the level of dumbfuck Trump cultist we are dealing with.

Grifters gonna grift: Part 6,398.

Jesus Christ ... even when slapping themselves on the back, the unprincipled, opportunistic hacks at Rebel News can't avoid data mining for their mailing lists.

And now's the time for the Democrats to go full-metal vengeance.

As much as the Democrats are relentless wusses and pansies and typically demonstrate not the slightest backbone whatsoever, one Democratic congressman has exactly the right idea:

Fuck, yes, this would be delicious ... they wanted a civil war, then give them one.

If Trump Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany were any dumber, ...

... she'd be David Menzies.

The rewards of persistence.

If you harangue the LCBO sufficiently, they will finally give up the good stuff.

Well, that's pretty awkward for Ezra.

Whoopsie ...

So now you can appreciate the nad-grinding, thigh-sucking dishonesty of this headline:

You're welcome.

So much fucking winning ...

Rebel News and the level of burning, fucking stupid

How fucking stupid do you have to be to have published this?

Given this:

Jesus fucking Christ, the dumbassitude.

P.S. Did I mention the burning stupid and dumbassitude?
