And here's where we juxtapose...


Prime Minister Stephen Harper would like to emphasize that it would be entirely inappropriate to comment on the case of Omar Khadr, since it would be tacky and unethical to muse about currently ongoing legal proceedings and the proper course of action is to let the justice system work without any outside interference or speculation.

This would be the same Stephen Harper who threw Cabinet Minister Helena Guergis under a bus, stripping her of her Ministership, expelling her from the Conservative caucus and handing her over to the Ethics Commissioner and the RCMP, based on questionable gossip from a private eye.

Please tell me you find the comparison enlightening.

I'm thinking that GTMO looks like Steve's kind of justice system, and what he did to Guergis looks like Steve's kind of justice system, sooo ...
