Support the troops! OK, not that one.

One of Canada's top fighting men puts a serious crease in Stephen Harper's trousers:

Top general OK with releasing Afghan papers

The chief of Canada's defence staff says he's not opposed to the release of hundreds of pages of government documents related to Afghan detainee transfers.

"I'm very proud of what our men and women do. We're not perfect," Gen. Walter Natynczyk told CBC News on Thursday. "But when our men and women do the right things, we're proud. When they don't do the right things, we take action, as is happening with regard to various trials ongoing right now."

By way of response, Blogging Tory co-founder Stephen Taylor laughed off the suggestion that Natynczyk be taken seriously since Natynczyk was not really a Canadian, but was instead a murderous, indestructible cyborg sent back from the 23rd century to kill the future mother of John Conner. Or perhaps a card-carrying Liberal. Whatever outrages you more.

And don't forget this Taylor gem: "Compromise must protect security of troops."

Or it the latest directive from Harper...

The little cretins are already blogging and posting that the general is a not to be trusted...

It just goes to show that all Conservatives are children. Canadian politics is past the point of parody. It's too bad the Liberals don't have a real leader and decided to be Conservative lights - they could have brought order to these imbeciles.. Instead we are left with the BQ and NDP.
