Yeah, yeah, whenever ...

I love you all dearly but, as I mentioned recently, I have just embarked on a wicked cool geek project with no end in sight and, in a heated confrontation between my adoring Sycophantic Groupthink Temple followers and, um, billable hours, well, that's not even a contest. I'll do what I can.

But if you're feeling generous these days, I really want one of these. Yeah, that's the ticket.

I'm thinking of giving up my landline and buying a cell phone. Seriously. I am almost ready to make the leap. Almost. I'll think about it for a few more months, then decide. The technology has changed since I first started thinking about making the switch in the 90s, so I don't want to make any sudden moves now that I'll regret in 2020.

I've lived sans landline for several years now. As long as you have a decent signal at home, it works.

The phone sounds pretty cool, but I wish someone would make an Android phone with a front physical keyboard (ie, BlackBerry style). I hate slideout keyboards and touch screen keyboards. Until then, I'll remain a RIM loyalist. Also I am a gmail paranoid.

heh.... landlines, how quaint -- some people still have them do they?

I also understand that there are people out there without personal data devices - each to their own I suppose, there's that bunch who still drive a horse and buggy to the market once a week as well.

The question I have is, why is it that I can use bluetooth headphones and speakers and such with my cell, but not a bluetooth keyboard?

Gawd. I'd kill for a horse and buggy.

Oops... I've said too much.

Nevermind.

The question is, Polyorchnid Octopunch: Why don't I have a red computer?

um cc, as a note, anyone using a projector out of a cell phone in any public place deserves a punch in the back. you know, just for future reference.

I had landlines drawn by a surveyor.
