Vancouver does Delisle. The world cringes.

Canada welcomes the world, and shows everyone where we store our snowblowers:

Once the Olympics are over, VANOC has promised Kate McMillan that she can have her garage and airbrush shop back at the earliest opportunity.

all the charm of a port-a-let. if it weren't for the canada® logos, i could've peddled it to the conspiracy nuts as a fema detention center.

Needs some positive spin...They did spell Canada right...

With the workman in front, it looks like Reno-Depot. Ya, Canada's back bitches!

Have the Ohlympics come to Brampton? Or is that Milton? Outer Brantford? Inner Barrie? Pickering maybe? Can't forget Mississauga.

It's CPC chic, I guess.

They better hurry up and finish that building, the games are just around the corner...

Gets better when you go inside. They've got these gym style roll-out bleachers. So the CPC can meet without having to face the disagreeable politicians on the other side.

Ew.

Reminds me of the Peter Nygard School of Architecture http://www.flickr.com/photos/bryanscott/3364273896/ only without the glitz.

From what I'm told, they're now trying to classify it as a "tent" in order to get around the fact that they dodged building codes. Thing is, it makes an even worse tent than it does a building.

It was supposed to snow, so they saw no reason to put any kind of skirt on it. The piled snow around it would insulate the base and stop the wind whistling under the floors too.

now that is a truly ugly building. i'm a bit surprised that there's not even more criticism than there is.

I mean its not like the government didn't have any notice about the need for a building.

Is that a Maple Leaf window treatment on the second floor? Starving-student chic...perfect.
