No, I said "proactive," not "reactive."

When planning goes horribly, horribly wrong:

I'm imagining Stephen Taylor addressing a gathering of his beloved Blogging Tories:

"If we work day and night for the next year, we can eventually catch up to the Progressive Bloggers of Canada, in the sense of having well-written, cogent, thoughtful and educated political analysis and ... Justin! Take that out of your mouth! You don't know where it's been! No, Maria, I don't care if you've written another song, I don't want to hear it. And for the last time, Neo, this obsession you have with murdered black people is seriously starting to creep me out. Seriously."

I'm pretty sure it would go down kind of like that. Something retarded involving "Hunter" would probably be involved as well. Call it a hunch.

I think we expect too much from the obviously mentally defective Blogging Tories...

Let's put it this way, when one of the few semi-intelligent (and Alberta lawyer Rob Harvie) writes:
By and large - if the sum total of this affair is that a handful of suspected terrorists, the kind of people who think nothing of killing and torturing hundreds and thousands of their fellow citizens, were tortured AT THE HANDS OF THEIR OWN PEOPLE, well, I'll sleep fine tonight, thank-you.
You know that these people are fucked in the head.

Shorter Rob Harvie = "Hey I"m okay with torturing anyone"....

It kind of put into perspective his indignation at the Canadian government wanting to be able to spy on Canadians use of the internet without a warrant...
Really. Hey Rob, suspicion should be enough now - maybe they are looking at kiddie porn or just bad-mouthing Maxime Bernier...

The rest is his postings on the subject is rather sad were he slips into dementia and accuses any Afghani of being a terrorist and worthy of torture...

It's always fun when a lawyer suggests that that whole "Innocent until proven guilty" thing is more like, you know, a suggestion than a requirement.

To Stephen Taylor's potential addressing of his groupies:

Kate, remove the photo of that poor dead rat and for the love of God, change the name of your blog!! If you were under 18, you would be locked up in a closed facility undergoing a psycho-social behavioral eval.

Dr. Roy: for the love of God, can you drop the Dr. from your name and blog title: you obviously no longer practice medicine.

To the rest: do run with scissors!
