Me, Steve Janke and an underground parkade. For charity.

In his book "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them," satirist and now U.S. Senator Al Franken tells of being somewhat offended by National Review wanker Rich Lowry accusing the Democrats of having "sissified" politics and, well, challenges him to a fight. Money would be wagered, and all the proceeds would go to charity. Unsurprisingly, Lowry is not thrilled about this, and wimps out.

You know where this is going, don't you?

Since Blogging Tory and weepy-hysterics-on-demand wingnut Steve Janke appears to be the current front person on this Stephen Harper photoshop idiocy, and since he also appears to live just down the road in Cambridge, I'm going to make Steve Janke the very same offer.

You and me, Steve. A parkade somewhere. Or maybe a warehouse. Whatever works. We charge admission, with all proceeds going to the charity of the winner's choice. Because frankly, Steve, I am seriously tired of this perpetual right-wing whinging about how we progressives are cowardly, bleeding heart Taliban lovers. Seriously. I'm tired of it.

So let's settle this, Steve. You and me and an open space somewhere. Money collected, and someone's charity getting a surprise windfall. And no rules. Rules are for sissies.

Give it some thought, Steve, and get back to me. I'm betting you know where to find me.

I take it you've managed to see what Janke looks like?

Not really, but since he's a self described "heat-seeking missile in the Conservative arsenal," I'm guessing one evening of "Fight Club" shouldn't be a big deal for him.

I'm thinking "Pay Per View."

I'm also in for $20 on CC. An extra $20 if you throw in DoDo.

Excuse me ... what's the first rule of "Fight Club"?

Seriously.

"Excuse me ... what's the first rule of "Fight Club"?"

Uhhh...cardio?

LuLu said...

No, no, no, Balby -- that's the first rule of Zombieland. We've already discussed at length on Facebook.

Balbulican said...

Oh. Uh...don't talk about zombies outside Zombieland?

Extend that challenge to a retired CAF sergeant from Waterloo and I'll take all the action your beer and popcorn fund can handle.

Oh bocanut! Who is this hunk of manly ass-kicking man that you speak of?

This stuff is porn for bocanut.

Take it elsewhere, slimey.

Let's just say this gentleman wasn't impressed with your fearless leader's comment to Lane Watkin's mother.

fuck Wanda Watkins and the grief she rode on...

How's that?

Once again- you join the army there is a chance that you will come back in a pine box fighting for a useless adventure because assmonkeys like Hillier don't have a fucking clue what to do.

This is not a diss at soldiers, they have very little say in the matter and are doing the best they can...

If "there are no rules", then I'd be bringing this.

Well I would, except I wouldn't want to see bocanut cream himself.

CC said...

*Snicker*. I didn't realize that when bocanut was getting all smackdown uppity, he was talking about letting someone else do it.

That's just precious.

Ti-Guy said...

You mean bocanut dug up the corpse of a dead soldier and used the grief of someone he doesn't know to make his off-topic point?

How repulsive.

thwap said...

i actually thought bocanut might be referring to himself.

For the record, Ms. Watkins is entitled to her grief and for trying to imagine her child's death was not in vain.

But, due to the fact that Canada and the United States are run by assholes, the deaths in Afghanistan HAVE been in vain.

Because the idiots in charge have created a brutal, corrupt, unpopular, undemocratic monstrosity that has lost the support of the majority in Afghanistan.

Staying in Afghanistan will only mean more pointless Canadian deaths.

Oh for the love of...
A fight? Seriously?
This is a no win for anyone.
I get the point you're trying to make, cc, but it'll be lost on those that it's intended for and now Patrick wants in if Janke wimps out.
This'll be ever escalating and, in the end, whatever the result--fight or no--win or no--'they' will twist it to say you're the loser, and there'll be much weeping and gnashing of teeth at the city gates by all involved.
All that said, we know where you were goign with this, and I hope for the best...

liberal supporter said...

PR of course, would try to pass himself off as Janke. He does that you know, Sparky.

Why aren't we hearing from Justin Hoffer?

CC said...

What was that, Sparky? Twatsy wants in? Yeah, that's pretty much what Roger Waters meant by "the bravery of being out of range."

Unsurprisingly, I've heard nothing from the eJankulator. Why does Steve Janke hate charities?

liberal supporter said...

Well the plan has worked so far. PR has issued his own "challenge", complete with rules and conditions that he will fill in later. So now he waits in vain with only his sock puppet I mean "second" mahmood cheering him on. He can't very well come here now and drop fresh turds can he? If one says "come here and say that" and the other person doesn't, and you then get in their face to repeat your challenge, you are harassing them and provably threatening them. So he can't come here now! It worked!

Hahahahahahahahahaha!

Why do I care what Twatrick Ross thinks? He's got nothing to do with this. What a twat.

You know the difference between a liberal blog and a Conservative blog ?.

The liberal blog has more schoolyard potty mouthlanguage. It's always an indication that in a battle of whit's between a conservative and a liberal, the Conservative wins, because the liberal is only half equipped for the job.
