What Glenn said.

Go. Read. I'd suggest that pathological narcissist Ezra Levant check out Glenn's piece, but I suspect he'd have to have someone help him with the big words.

Well, that was good.

If I had $10 million, I'd crush Levant like the smelly little bug he is. Alas...

If Ezra read that and reacted to it, he would just call Glenn Greenwald a liar.

He called Richard Moon "liar for hire" in this post. I guess when there's a multi-million dollar suit pending against you, you pretty much give up caring about libel.

No, you don't but you do try to bolster your defense. In this case Ezra is going for the "incredible" defense. If he is incredible (i.e. not credible) then nobody would believe a word he says and therefore anything he says could not defame anyone.

Similar to the insanity defense, without the unpleasant necessity of being institutionalized.

Nope. He can't get away with that. He's been in the media and been courted/celebrated/tolerated by influential people too much for that to be considered a reasonable defence. I mean, he appeared before a committee of Parliamentarians just few weeks ago.

He may end up wishing he had been institutionalised, though.

In any case, I don't believe Ezra is insane. I just think he's a really, really really bad person.
