Rule of thumb.

Shorter Mary Matalin, Official Darth Cheney Fluffer: If that stupid bitch had done her job properly in the first place, she wouldn’t have required such manly correction.

Money quote (emphasis gleefully added):

Time is the most valuable commodity on a campaign and you just can't waste it thinking about how to choose your words carefully or get your job done more diplomatically. If someone isn't in tears every day, that day wasn't all it could be advancing the campaign. I once witnessed an experienced (big) man slap a professional female colleague across the face over an ad buy... and no one thought anything of it, starting with the woman. In fact, she would have been insulted if anyone told her she should have been insulted.

And furthermore ... Yes, I grossed myself out by using the words "Cheney" and "Fluffer" in the same sentence. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

And further furthermore ... I can honestly say that my first reaction upon being smacked in the face by an "experienced (big) man" would not be one of insult -- it would be one of revenge.

Of course, I'm not a conservative/republican drone woman. And I know how to kill with my thumb.

There obviously aren't the kind of women I know in the circles the deranged Matalin travels in.

That is, if I believed this. Which I don't. She's probably remembering the time her deranged husband slapped her across the face, something known in the Carville-Matalin household as foreplay.

Now, if a member of the police force or RCMP had been present, how would they have viewed this little episode? As an example of the quaint folkways of the Conservatistos tribe -- or as a "zero tolerance" situation, as stipulated by law?

You know "law," right? That set of rules the politicians devise, for everyone else to follow?

That whole paragraph has a whole "I wish it was me getting slapped around by a (big) man" vibe about it. A little insight into Matalin's personal tastes?

God, if you slapped my wife you'd better be doing it while running and your last name better be Bolt, cause, like Lulu, all hell would break loose.

I'd like to slap across the face whoever is responsible for NOT editing that piece of rambling drivel down to a paragraph.

Right Mary, when all you sociopathic idiots get together and run a campaign, the inevitable stupid mistakes lead to the inevitable explosions from out of the violent, deranged, closet-case, religious fanatic nut-cases who can barely hold it together on a good day.

Yeah "experienced" and "professional" people strike each other in public all the time in professional situtations, why vitually every meeting I've ever attended has ending in a good old-fashioned fist-fight as often as not...right, and I am the Queen of Sheeba. I can guaran-fucking-tee you pretty much every one thought something about witnessing a physical altercation in the workplace unless you work in pro wrestling or the mafia. Striking a co-worker is not done, especially in the power-tie world.

As for anyone raising a hand to the lovely and lethal LuLu and her fabulous boots o' doom...well to steal a cliche from Mr. T, I pity the fool. I suspect LuLu wouldn't leave enough of the miscreat left for the rest of us to kick the shit out of in the alley out back.
