Dear God, but the stupid burns.

In what has to be an awkward development for Canada's wankers, even the National Post is losing patience with the weaselly douchebaggery of the Stephen Harper Party of Canada with respect to Abousfian Abdelrazik, but the true dumbassitude shows up in the comments, like this one by stunningly stupid commenter "kat26":

I read he is on an international no fly list.

France and the US have him on a terrorist list. Lufthansa Airlines will not fly him, nor will Air Canada. Do you expect Harper to fly him home in a private jet like we did Papa Khadr and his terrorist son?

Here, kat26, let me help you out (emphasis tail-waggingly added):

Officially, Mr. Abdelrazik has been told by Canadian diplomats he's welcome to go home. But his efforts to return have been stymied at every step by Canada's refusal to issue him a passport, the claim that they can do nothing about his "no-fly" status, and perhaps most startlingly, by thwarting offers by Sudan to fly him back to Canada.

Did you catch that, kat26? The part about Sudan offering to fly him home? A year ago? And being thwarted by Canada's own government?

John Stuart Mill was right:

Conservatives are not necessarily stupid, but most stupid people are conservatives.

Apparently, some things never change.

P.S. Read the whole 2008 article by Koring. It's really quite eye-opening.

I just *love* that J.S. Mill quote. Never seen it before.

I dunno about that quote. I think most conservatives are stupid, AND most stupid people are conservatives.

OTOH, ALL libertarians are stupid.
