That's still former Senator Coleman to you.

Even though it's American, it really is the electoral train wreck that you can't look away from, as TPM's Eric Kleefeld deconstructs Norm Coleman's relentless sore loserism. And the irony?

As soon as the initial election results came in, showing that the race would be close enough to trigger the automatic recount mandated by Minnesota law, Coleman began campaigning to stop that normal and fair process. He claimed to be concerned about the cost of the recount and publicly asked Franken to "let the healing begin" by waiving the recount and conceding the election.

This is ugly, and it's going to stay ugly until some grownup in the GOP takes Coleman aside and tells him that he's just making the party look like a gang of whiny thugs and bullies, and would he please just fuck off and spend more time concentrating on his pending indictment.

i will miss Norm. One of my favorite videos is his 'talk' with George Galloway at that Senate Hearing. It still brings a smile to my face.

<sarcasm>Yeah, don't you know? They spent the last eight years reminding us that "the adults are in charge now," so it must be true!</sarcasm>
