Now this is brilliant.

Man...what a legacy. I loved Victor Borge. My absolute favourite was the 'Typewriter' skit. But, everything he did was absolutely hysterical...the one with the opera star -- she touched his piano...he stopped playing...

I used to watch the fund raising specials just to see him.

God, I miss The Muppet Show. A brilliant piece of whimsy.

Shame about him getting swallowed up by the that big cube in space.

I did some PR work for a local small-time concert promoter (i.e. not Live Nation or their ilk) who presented Mr. Borge on a handful of occasions.

Can say that he was a truly witty, charming and intelligent man off-stage as well as in performance. I have a personally autographed 8 x 10 b&w glossy hanging on a wall here.

Couple more favourites:
Liszt´s Hungarian Rhapsody No 2 for four hands.

Musical Phonetic Punctuation with Dean Martin.

I really want the Muppet Show on DVD for Christmas...I'm not even sure where to get it.

Also, any WKRP with the original music intact would be great. Any pirate who has this could make a fortune...
