When members of the 101st Fighting Keyboardists get all uppity.

Blogging Tory Jonathan Strong wants you to know just what he'd do, gosh darn it:

So I ask, is it 1938? Would it be better in the long term to take a hard line against Putin's Russia rather than let it gain strength, confidence, and belligerence at this aggression against Georgia?

Yes, Jonathan ... and this international military defiance would involve you and whose over-stretched, stop loss-extended, utterly fatigued army? Here's a hint, Jonathan ... when you want to talk about military readiness and preparation, stuff like this doesn't count.

I'm just sayin'.

Jesus, the ignorant crap. The only historical event these tighties are vaguely familiar with is WW2, and therefore, everything is WW2.

Do these people even know that Russia was on our side in 1938?

Actually, the USSR wasn't actually on our side until 1941, I think. But why don't they compare Putin to Stalin, who lasted longer and killed more people than Hitler?
