Let the John McCain-flavoured shrieking begin.

Blogging Tory "Ranting Owl" gets her "Hello Kitty" thong all bunched up:

Who Does Wesley Clark Think He Is?

I'm not a John McCain supporter (but I'm not an Obama one either) but this is just horrible. What is wrong with Wesley Clark? Is he just pissed off no one took his presidential bid seriously? Does he think because he took mainly staff officer and teaching positions and is a Rhodes Scholar that he has the "executive responsibility" to be President? How dare he criticize McCain's service record. John McCain can't raise his arms over his head because of the torture he underwent as a POW. It wasn't right when it happened to John Kerry and it isn't right now. If someone served their country honorably than it is all that matters.

And now, for those of you who are not hysterical, gibbering retards, what this is really all about.

Are we good here? Do we understand that what Clark said is absolutely and inarguably true? That merely getting shot down, taken prisoner and tortured for several years, while unquestionably admirable in terms of serving your country, does not automatically grant someone the executive experience to be President of the United States?

Do we understand that? Because, really, it's not that deep a thought. Really.

BONUS TRACK: Media Matters goes to town on this bit of fiction.

Dear Hooty Owl Girl,

I couldn't speak to who General Clark thinks he is, but I know for certain that he was the Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, beeyach.

Sincerely,

Dr. Prole

Nice "conserva-gal" tattoo she's got there.

I'm sensing another one who will eventually come off the spool.
