Hello? Denyse? *Tap*. *Tap*. Is this thing on?

For someone who has been regaling us for months on end about the cinematic tour de force that is "Expelled," and how it will blow the lid off of all that nefarious, left-wing academic intolerance, blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda, Canadian wingnut and Intelligent Design crackpot Denyse O'Leary has been curiously silent for the last few days.

We'll be revisiting Denyse in considerably more detail in short order, but it's amusing to note how, for someone who's been as caustically condescending to her critics as she has, Denyse certainly hasn't had much to say since that movie hit Canada and got savagely butt-fucked by virtually every critic in the country.

As I type and the coffee brews, this is Denyse's most recent post over at her main blog, and one can only wonder what's holding her back from her typical contemptuous gloating. Maybe it's that she has nothing to gloat over since "Expelled" turned out to be a worthless, unattended piece of shit. Yeah, there's that possibility.

Happy Canada Day, Denyse. Lying in a dark room with a cold compress on your forehead, licking your wounds and wondering how things could have gone so horribly wrong can't be that much fun but, really, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving, scientifically illiterate, patronizing douchebag.

There is a God after all.
