HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh, for fuck's sake!

BY THE WAY, WHAT'S YOUR POINT? I have to admit, I'm confused as to what the folks behind Disorder of Canada think they're accomplishing here.

Yes, we're aware that the choice of Henry Morgentaler to receive an OoC was controversial. Yes, we're aware that a lot of people are pissed off about it. Yes, we're aware that a small number of pompous, self-absorbed dingbats have returned their OoCs in protest (some of them inappropriately returning other peoples' OoCs posthumously, which makes no sense). But now what?

Face it -- no one is going to revoke Morgentaler's award. Ain't gonna happen. So what exactly is the point of that website? To get more people to turn in their OoCs? I doubt that's going to happen since, if people haven't renounced them by now, I'm guessing they've decided to hang onto them.

But what if more folks are, in fact, convinced to return their awards? Well, so what? It's a free country. If they can be talked into it, fine. What are we supposed to conclude from that? In short, what changes? Quite simply, nothing.

In effect, it's like freeping an online poll. You can get whatever results you want if you work hard enough, but the results don't mean squat. So knock yourselves out, kids. Feel free to harass the entire membership of the OoC. And after the majority of them have told you (politely, I'm sure) to fuck right off, you might have the sense God gave a bag of kibble to realize that all that effort was an utter waste of time.

It's a dead issue, and all you're doing is whining that things didn't go your way. And nothing you do is going to change that. So grow up.

The point is to have a ralllying point for their movement and to keep the contributions flowing in.

Isn't it illegal to require a new employee to be pro-life? (On the other hand you could make $8/hr...)
