The one-eyed man in the land of the blind.

Shorter Better-than-Ezra: Why, oh why is everyone stupid and crazy and stupid but me? It’s a terrible burden I must bear for the good of humanity as a whole. Pardon me while I mop my smugly chubby yet oh-so-noble brow. Now ... once more into the free speech fray!

LuLu-snark. Does anyone else get the distinct feeling that Better-than could break out into a rousing rendition of Henry V’s St. Crispin’s Day speech given the slightest opportunity?

This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Fuckwit.

And furthermore. That is, of course, predicated on the assumption that Better-than actually knows Henry V's speech ... which is a hell of an assumption for this girl to make.

Does anyone know what's wrong with Levant's teeth? Did he get them all knocked out at some point, or did he have them removed for...er...professional reasons?

Anyway, he sounds like he wears ill-fitting dentures.
