Um ... wha?

In a desperate effort to stand out in a crowd, Blogging Tory and President of the Cambridge branch of the Scooby Doo Fan Club Steve Janke proceeds to make even less sense than usual. Join us tomorrow when The Politic's Matthew refuses to take that kind of competition lying down.

It could get ugly. The streets will flow with stupid.

Ah, the Jankester and his smutty prurience. I love all the breathless, unsubstantiated questions.

And now he wants to be able to rule on what’s “art” too. I loved that. What a creepy douche.

Yeah...what does this all have to do with the age of consent and internet stalking? Why did he go there, exactly?

God, I thought cyber-palpitating Cindy Sheehan's uterus was bad enough...

How old was Omar Khadr when he was acptured? The number 15 rings a bell.

Don't bring up the 10 year-olds old enough to be tried as adults/14 year-olds too young to control their own bodies incoherence, Crabby. The Righties short-circuit when you do that.

How about we just require "conservatives" to obtain permits before they spawn?

I think that's how they see marriage licences. As a matter of fact, a conservative's reproductive system doesn't switch on until they're married. And it does NOT work for teh gays.

That's a recent development. When my mother was young, it switched on about a month before they left school abruptly and "went to Montréal" for a while, I guess because that's where you'd find religious shrines worthy enough to pay homage to all those births resulting from immaculate conceptions.

One of my aunts had one of those immaculate conceptions (she and my uncle actually doctored the date on their marriage licence to keep their daughters in the dark, AND celebrate their anniversary a few months early). Years later when the same thing happened to one of her daughters (who was absolutely devastated over it), she kept the lid on that information. Good Christians.

I hope this doesn't get me in trouble. But I don't believe that immaculate conception can be all that unusual. If Irish women in general are anything like my grandmother in particular, I would think we have a whole race propagated by means of immaculate conception. Or am I working with a biased sample?

I don't know; I'm pretty sure "up the duff" and unmarried is a pretty fundamental and ancient reality.

What a sick psychopathic bastard. He reminds me of the man who spent an hour screaming at my manager that Ann Geddes is child porn and we should be ashamed for carrying her books in the store. My take: when a sick bastard looks at tasteful, artistic photos and equates them with exploitive photos of child rape, it's not hard to determine who has the sick mind.
