Just another item off of the TO DO list.

Shorter Kate McMillan: "Ok, then, nursing mothers ... is there any demographic I haven't insulted yet?"

P.S. I apologize for the recent Kate-a-palooza but, every time I Google on "deranged hypocritical whackjob," well, ... you can figure out the rest.

Comments like "I think in a lot of circumstances the women that engage in public breast feeding are just being hill billy about it." make me want to practice a few of my little used TKD roundhouse kicks on folks like CanuckInMI.

All of my children were breastfed where and when they got hungry, and all of my grandchildren are or were breastfed where and when they got hungry - and folks making some of the comments on SDA are the perv's who you see trying to get a Conservative thrill of a glimpse of a nipple when that happens.

Per KKKate:

"life must be pretty damned dismal if you have to resort to digging about inside your bra to find a sense of importance."

I agree. But I'm sure it beats digging about one's outhouse for blog topics or fans.

Just one endless, authoritarian scolding about what other people choose to do with their lives, because...well...they have lives. And she calls herself libertarian?

Anyway, I pity her. Had she been the product of sexual reproduction, she might have been breast-fed and wouldn't despise other women as much as she does.

Mum's who breastfeed aren't the ones who make a fuss out of it. Its just perfectly normal to want to do what's best for your child.

She was probably a bottle baby. As we all know breast milk is much better for brain development in infants.

:)

What amazes me is that Canadian Sentinel, probably for the first time in his life, had a lucid moment in the comments.

"if you have to resort to digging about inside your bra..."

What a sad and telling turn of phrase. I guess she doesn't know that most women don't have to "dig about" inside their bras to find their boobs. (For some of us the problem is keeping those puppies from escaping the kennel, not having to dig about to find them.)

You're all making a grave mistake here. KKKate was budded...kind of like how ferns reproduce.

Or something. It's all very sciency. Ask Denyse O'Leary if you have any further questions

Yesterday, it was Catherine taling about writing in Mark Steyn for the top intellectuals. It seemed pretty obvious she secretly hoping someone will write her in as a top 100 intellectual.

Today it's moaning about other women having to dig around inside their bras. It seems pretty obvious that she's secretly hoping for someone to observe she would never have to "dig around".

Just more fishing for compliments and breast adoration. Of course with her readership, they don't always get it unless you hint them with a two by four.

I'm trying to imagine how many women expressing milk in tandem it would take to have made enough of difference to KKKate's development. I doubt Hugh Hefner's ever had the occasion to picture that many breasts at once.

The demographic that Kate needs to insult next, and be a little snarkier with in general, is that of the moderately overweight middle-aged white male.

"life must be pretty damned dismal if you have to resort to digging about inside your bra to find a sense of importance."

Lest you suppose for even a moment that Kate's life is dismal, understand that she has a motorcycle (vroom, vroom) and can change her own spark plugs. Pass it on!!

Some of the comments there are something else. One guy compares breast feeding to taking a piss? Huh??

Lotta pervs out there. When I was waitressing I was amazed how many customers would demand that I tell a nursing mother she had to go "do that" in the washroom. The washroom!?? I'd gently suggest they switch chairs so they didn't "have to look". *eyeroll* Geez, they're baby-bottles, get over it.

I'm sure it was concern for the baby. They just they felt an SBD fart coming on and didn't want to asphyxiate the baby.

jj, that would be in the days when the same customers would demand that their right to chain smoke in any part of the place not be infringed, right?

I remember hiding in the washroom with my oldest.

But then I said fuck it and got very artful with blankets. lol.

With another one of my kids, someone said that to me. And I told them they could feel free to go eat sitting perched on a toilet. It really wasn't healthy for tiny babies....

Red face. and complete silence.
Honestly.

But remember now, conservatives are only doing this because they care about babies!

You nailed it. And they were also the ones who later swore they'd never patronize any restaurant that made them go outside to "do that" (smoke). Huh?

I think "sean" has reincarnated, and has posted under many identities on SDA.

sure. Breed, breed, breed, protect those foetuses, but fuck 'em once they see the light and get hungry.

And especially - fuck the woman...oh, I mean the walking uterus. If she absolutely has to feed the damn kid, she should hide in shame, barefoot, in a dark, dank kitchen, preferably pregnant with a precious foetus.
