= 0.002, non?
Um ... yeah, I get $0.002 as well. What's up with that? Maybe that's actually what Verizon billed this guy -- literally, 1/5 of a cent.
Show offs ... think you're soooooo much mathier than everyone else. Well, I could shop all your asses into the ground.
Quiet, woman ... mathematicians at work.
Quiet yourself, heathen - worship my shopping prowess.
I wonder what would happen if I wrote myself a check with a sideways 8 on it.Would banks teller's heads start popping all over Md?
Thank you for that link Lulu....:DI can't believe I missed that. Math is so overrated...
I get an answer of $1.002.The infinite series (i.e. last term) = 1/(1-1/2) = 2.I think that the middle term is equal to -1, but I'm admittedly not sure.
OK, now I'm sure:e ^ (ix) = cos(x) + i * sin(x)so if x = pi, thene ^ (i * pi) = cos(pi) + i * sin(pi)meanwhile cos(pi) = -1 and sin(pi) = 0, soe ^ (i * pi) = -1 + i * 0 = -1
