Um ... whoopsie.

Blogging Tory "hunter" has an unfortunate case of premature wankulation:

So, did Dryden repeat what he said outside the house? Nope, he disappeared faster than a Greyhound after a rabbit.

Read the entire comments section for the full, embarrassing fallout, including this gem:

Okay, I never watch CBC, so if he did, I stand corrected.

The Blogging Tories: Because when you need to stay informed, what better source than people who openly admit they don't watch the news?

BONUS WANKERY
: You have to love this snippet of airheaditude from "hunter":

I could accuse you of lying to me because I didn't see the CBC scrum. My next post on my blog could be about what a lier you are. We would have a she/said, she/said situation, unless, you had video you could show me.

Translation: "I didn't see the scrum; therefore, I'm safe in suggesting it never happened."

That's not even funny anymore; it's just depressing.

What a dope. Caught outright just making up stuff. Typical.

Darn those pesky facts!

I'm up and down about this. Sometimes it's invigorating...but when I think that we still have to let these people vote, which quite often seems like I've made a suicide pact, I get depressed.

It's not that she's stupid...it's that she's a liar.

She only has one vote, and continually pointing out her lying has the effect of making her less credible to anyone who may read her.

It also makes her less likely to spout off with impunity in her real life, since she now knows her arguments can be effectively countered.

For example, just think about any real life conversation where your friendly CPC supporter says "Adscam". Just play dumb and say "Cadscam?", then they say "No, AD scam where they stole money". You say "Oh you mean 'Cadscam' where they tried to bribe the guy who was dying". They say Adscam, you say Cadscam. Never leave an Adscam hanging in the air without the accompanying Cadscam.

These slogan loving people try to make their slogan the entire debate, and brush off any actual discussion of issues as elitist mumbo jumbo. Keep hitting back with the counter slogan whenever they try, and the discussion "degenerates" to discussing actual issues.

They're on the ropes, and of course like any cornered animal, become incredibly vicious.

Dion's strategy is finally paying off. Did you see the shock when he said quite simply that he will not be intimidated? He's supposed to be sitting on his hands like a scared little kid, who is of course Not a Leader and Not worth the Risk. He fed them enough rope that they finally believed their own hype and underestimated him when the inevitable integrity scandal came, which it just did.

Hahahahahahaha!

She's not a liar, she's a lier.

Arrgh.
