Speaking of useless ...

Via ThinkProgress, former UN ambassador John Bolton, the pornstar-stache that walks like a man, had the following to say about Darth Cheney's latest visit to Iraq (emphasis gleefully added):

Commenting on the surprise visit, conservative war hawk and former U.N. ambassador John Bolton said Cheney can make the Iraqis “get their act together” because he has “enormous credibility” in Iraq:

“He’s got enormous credibility there, and is able to say to them in words of one syllable that they need to get their act together,” John Bolton, the former UN ambassador, said.

Except, ooopsie, looks like Bolton is wrong ... again. I know, I was totally shocked, too.

If the Republicans win the election, then nothing will really change in Iraq, and we need a big change to kick the occupiers out of the country,” said Abu Mohammed, a 30-year-old barbershop owner in Samarra, north of Baghdad. “I would like to show him the schools and hospitals and how the children and women suffer.”

Another Samarra shop owner, 52-year-old Hamid Saleh, said he wanted the Republicans to lose the election. “All I want is someone who works to fix my country, and not destroy it,” he said.

Apparently being a Republican means never being right and never having to say you’re sorry.

John Bolton is a useless piece of shit and were it not for a recess appointment and Bush policy of Cronyism, he'd still be working hack jobs in some conservative think tank.
