So ... how's that "surge" going?

Hmmmmmm ... not so well:

Across the river at the Pentagon, Bush was to give a speech to warn that backsliding in recent progress fueled by the increase of 30,000 troops he ordered more than a year ago cannot be allowed.

Here's a thought -- if that "surge" of 30,000 troops is still there after a year, it's not really just a "surge" anymore, is it?

I'm just sayin'.

You can dress up a pig and call it Kathy but it's still a pig. The surge was never a surge it was an escalation and a misdirection. Not so much against the insurgency.... but against the American people.
