Irony, where is thy sting? Oh, there it is.

Oh, the humanity! Right-wing twatwaffle David Frum gets all weepy for the children who will never be:

The Day Humanity Became Cheap

On Jan. 28, 1988, the Supreme Court of Canada released its judgment in the case of R. vs. Morgentaler, which struck down the abortion provision in the Criminal Code. As a result, Canada became the only Western nation with no abortion law -- a situation that persists to this day. This week, National Post writers will be looking at the legacy of R. vs. Morgentaler. In today's first instalment, David Frum argues that the decision served to cheapen the value of human life.

And as the inventor of the phrase "Axis of Evil" and a relentless cheerleader for the invasion of Iraq that has cost the lives of tens of thousands of civilians, David is just the wingnut who should be lecturing us on the appalling cheapness of humanity.

Is it too early to start drinking? Just after 4 AM. Nope.

yes, it is Canada's lack of an abortion law that has lead us to mercilessly bomb, invade and occupy other nations, lock up huge swathes of our own population for minor crimes, brutalize our poor, abandon human rights.....oh, we haven't....uh nevermind.
