Swanktacular.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to tell me what the fuck Pastor Swank is trying to say here. I know he’s speaking English and that it has something to do with fetus-fetishism but then it just kind of plunges off a cliff into insanity.

There is that public that has a moral underpinning to life that is pro-life, for instance, but for no known theological position except that that public regards killing womb babies as not right for their culture.

Sometimes Pastor Swank really scares me.

I think what he means is that Huckabee will win if there are enough moral foundationalists (religious or not) in the United States. Furthermore, he assumes that moral foundationalism by definition lines up with his particular set of beliefs.

I think that's what he means. It's hard to tell, though.

And he's Canadian too! I'm so proud...

Favourite Swankisms: "Homo nups," "Freedom spread," and "Muslim murderers global."

sooooo, he believes atheists, if they are anti-abortionists, are moral? Not ethical, just his kind of moral?

I think he's saying that you don't have to be deeply religious to appreciate Huckabee's lofty moral code, until he gets caught with a whore doing crystal meth; upon learning about that, however, you must be very very religious indeed to remain in his camp.

Maybe he didn't actually write that second part down, but that's how these things tend to go, right?

I'll settle for Chet's interpretation, because I certainly couldn't figure it out...

I love "womb babies." I'm sure he thought something along the lines of "Foeti (Okay, he probably thought foetuses) is kind of a dehumanising word. I need to make it clear that it's not just a blob of flesh, it's a baby who just happens to be in the womb. I know! Womb baby! It's perfect! Now I shall go drink myself half blind and slap my wife around. Hazzah!"

I'm wondering why it wasn't "womb people" or even "womb citizens".

To be fair, "womb people" sounds like something out of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"

Attack of the Womb People!!

he's saying "non-evangelicals are filthy sinners but we will accept their vote - just this once - because we need it to elect a godly type who will then force his beliefs on all - especially filthy sinners."

"womb babies" LMFAO! So would this be similar to, say, "egg chickens"?

Does anybody else find the word "womb" to be a little wierd?

Would a vegetarian with an anti-abortion stance refuse to eat egg chickens?
