Oh, irony, where is thy dumbassitude?

In case you hadn't noticed, that odour of fresh ragegasm wafting across the yard would be the Blogging Tories going completely batshit fucking crazy over some apparent collusion between the CBC and the Liberals in terms of, um, well, putting together some questions to ask The Chin Who Walks Like a Man.

Perhaps the funniest example of an utter lack of self-awareness would be BT JoJo, who pontificates thusly:

Yes, this is a very convoluted mess with certain people looking out for their best interests; certainly not Canada's.

Um ... yes, JoJo ... an entire (with a single exception) ideological collective who have studiously averted their gaze from a significant national issue are just the people who should be lecturing the rest of us on who is and is not looking out for Canada's best interests.

I'm guessing JoJo wouldn't get the point there. Why break with tradition?

Okay. This post puts to rest the claim that Lulu is CC's sock puppet. CC's style is inimitable. Lulu is charming and insightful and a calming influence on this blog. Only CC writes stuff like this post.

Seriously? I must be doing something wrong ... or right, depending on your perspective.

Right.

Righteous.

The Cuntservatives only make a stink about this kind of the thing because the CBC is held to higher standard of journalistic ethics than the CanWest rags they put so much faith in. I can imagine the corporate media doing this kind of stuff even more, but for some reason, the CONS think that's different.

Guys,

I am a libertarian leaning person interested in hearing the perspective of those further to the left of the political spectrum. But I have to say, some of the foul mouthed stuff I see here is really off-putting. Would it be too much to ask that you be a bit more civil? When you are, it makes your arguments a heck of a lot more persuasive. When I see folks throwing around the word "cunt" constantly, it makes it a lot harder to be sympathetic to their arguments. Just sayin'... OK now flame away if you wish.
