Dear Richard: Let me explain the English language to you.

Oh, sigh ... fresh out of the CC HQ mailbox:

Without prejudice

Canadian Cynic;

On Sunday September 30, 2007, on your blog Canadian Cynic, you made the accusation that I am a white supremacist and that I advocate for the North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). Those accusations are patently false and constitute defamation. As such, I am demanding that you retract said statements and post a formal apology. Failure to do so will result in legal action being taken against you.

In regards to your posting of October 1, 2007, you should be wetting your pants CC. You've ticked off enough people that someone, somewhere, is going to gladly give me the information I need in order to speed up the process of taking you to court.

Ignore this e-mail at your own peril CC as it's one of steps I need to perform in order to get the ball rolling.

Cheers

Richard

OK, Richard, let me explain this to you really slowly. You suggest that my recent claims are "patently false." Let's take a minute and see what that phrase actually means, shall we?

adv.

In a patent manner; openly, plainly, or clearly: a patently false statement.

See what that's suggesting, Richard? That what I wrote is absolutely, unmistakably, trivially incorrect, right? And yet, when we look at the actual facts regarding, say, NAMBLA, we notice almost immediately that it was you who registered the domain http://canadiancynic.net, and it was you who redirected it to NAMBLA. In other words, it was you who, leeching off of the moderate popularity of my site, conspired to drive reader traffic to NAMBLA so that those readers could see what NAMBLA had to say. Ergo, since it was you who did everything in your power to redirect web traffic to NAMBLA, it is not at all outrageous to suggest that you are a NAMBLA advocate. Q.E.D.

Is that claim false? Quite possibly. Is it patently false? Not even remotely. Your registered domain, Richard, and your redirection. And when you deliberately and explicitly send people to a web site that advocates pedophilia, I don't think it's unreasonable for people to conclude that there's something there you really want them to read. (In fact, Richard, one might even suggest that you being a NAMBLA advocate is the logical conclusion to draw, and that the burden of proof is on you to disprove it. Isn't that a hoot?)

Now, Richard, I'm going to get back to work, and you can piss off. Think you can handle that? Good boy.

BY THE WAY, just in case you came in late, what follows is the screen image that you got to read for several seconds before you were redirected to the NAMBLA home page from canadiancynic.net:

Yeeeeeeah ... Richard is the one who's driving traffic NAMBLA's way but, somehow, I'm the one "enabeling" them. Go figure that one out.

So Ricky was hoping for a retraction to save him from a bluff that he doesn't have the huevos to follow through on. Well, he still has the nonsensical "it would take too long to file without knowing CC's name" excuse to fall back on.
He couldn't have found a better advocate to guide him in such matters than Weiner Patels.

I understand NAMBLA is complaining about Richard.

So, due diligence is acting like an immature asshole? You are attempting to defame someone else by registering a similarly named website and linking it to a group that likes to sex with children?

This is the Y2k+ equivalent to spray painting "This guys advocates having sex with children" across the front of someone's business and trying to call the cops on them.

Sounds like you're the one in the wrong here, Dick. You're trying to trick people who can't spell or make a typo into thinking that CC supports NAMBLA. You even make that claim on the page you link to.

Now, being an asshole isn't illegal, otherwise half of congress would be in jail. But trying to libel someone in this manner is. I think CC should send the Law off to pay you a visit.

Seriously. It's Richard who's trying to defame CC here, and there are stacks of evidence.

And I repeat the neo-Cons' favourite whine around here: Richie-boy must be pretty damn scared of CC, to be so obsessed with him.

Considering that Mr. Evans used the same "trick" on other bloggers as he did with you, CC, and actually boasting about it (one example here), in addition to actually engaging in internet bullying to add insult to injury, methinks Mr. Evans should simply quit while he is ahead and slinker back into his hole under a rock - in order to stay vewyvewyvewy quiet from now on ...

What is with these idiots? Patels, Evans, Canadian Sentinel...do any of these blustering thugs and morons ever actually READ any of the law they threaten you with?

RE wrote (from Mentarch's link) "Quit whining or I'll out you even further Paul... Since you've started this adventure I've learned a lot more about you (blame Grant for posting stuff all over the web...)

Folks in Calgary don't necessarily take kindly to full blown socialists.."

Agog, I marvel at the statesmanlike behaviour and the consistency of his need to 'expose' anyone left of Nixon to the implied posse of noose swinging uhm...Conservatoughs. Is he taking down the addresses of everyone sporting a Hawkesworth sign in the yard, so they too can rue their rabid socialism festering in the heartland of uh...his kind?

now add water, stir and wait five minutes....

should be hearing the keening wail of wounded right wing pride and the threats of legal action any time now. after all, when you are as manly as a manly right wing manly man can be, the sure response to criticism is to weep like a crew cut, whiny ass, titty-baby. now let's see if rico actually is deluded enough to waste the court's time filing an ill-considered nuisance suit. i'm putting a wide slot, bagel ready toaster on the line says he either chickens out or his lawyer tells him to go away and grow up. either way i'm betting it is yet more scented gas from herr evans.

But he has "criminal libel expert" and all-round legal beagle Wiener advising him, how could he possibly go wrong?

Oh, and Right Girl as well. She of "I Look At Somali Businessmen and See Cannibals" fame.

I hope you're not losing so much as a second of sleep over these thugs and idiots.

More online harassment. He just can't stop.

Though he should have been stopped long ago. I feel badly for his family. This will haunt them forever.
