Save me former Ambassador Bolton, save me...

Oh Oh...

The good folks at Sadly, No! have hit the comedy motherlode. Seems beloved moderate, centrist commentator and all around reasonable, rational mom Pamela Oshry Geller might be in a spot of popo. Something to do with a massive million dollar scam at her ex-husband's auto dealership (the papers of which list her as co-owner).

The New York Post has the details, leading with this, "Detectives are investigating possible links between the men accused of gunning down two Brooklyn cops and an alleged million-dollar scam at a Long Island auto dealership." Greed is a terrible thing.

Further along in the article is the following, "His ex-wife, Pamela Geller, former associate publisher of the New York Observer and a conservative blogger, burst into tears when told her ex is under criminal investigation.
Although listed in business records as a Universal co-owner, she denied it. "I have nothing to do with this," Geller said." Yep, she's cryin' and denyin'.

Okay, all snickering aside, as distressing and crazed as Pamela can be, I do hope she isn't tied up in what looks to be a very nasty bit of crime. We're talking murder and attempted murder as well as massive fraud. When this all unravels, there will be some serious jail time to serve. What's more, this has the stink of gangland quality evil. Even deeply greedy fucks like Lord Conjob Black of Stench Harbour shy away from shooting at the police. Ideologies and politics aside, Pam has kids. I'd hate to see them become wards of the state. The adults involved make their own beds but the kids don't get to choose their parents or their fates. That said, it is still difficult not to stand in awe of the machinations of kharma and giggle just a bit.

Well, she let her name go on the documents.

Conservatives need to know that actions have their consequences. If there are legal ramifications for her connection to her ex-husband's company and his alleged murders and other assorted crimes, so be it.

Her kids will be looked after by relatives no doubt. Supported by unseized ill-booten gotty.

Oh, I forgot, under the US's (and Canada's) sweeping "proceeds of crime" laws, every last dust-mote can be called "proceeds of crime" and (in the US) used to renovate the police stations' lunch-rooms and like that.

Sorry Pam.

(thwap shrugs.)

It certainly calls into question who Pamela Oshry chooses to associate with. Bolton was bad enough...now this?
