It's always amusing when they turn on their own.

Even among the batshit crazy, clinically insane Blogging Tories, you'll find the occasional example of someone who still retains a healthy grip on reality and knows bad craziness when he sees it:

I know a lot of Conservatives in Canada support the United States and their war in Iraq. I don't. And I'm not really a fan of a political party which spends so much money on a foreign problem that they exceed the GDP of most nations in military spending alone. And it's not even necessary for the direct security of the United States, which is perhaps the worst part of the entire affair...

Not only is the Iraq war killing a lot of people, it's killing the economy.

And that's when poor Raphael learns the hard way that you just don't fuck with the party line, as fellow Blogging Tory Shameer (Sham the Tory Man) Ravji crawls out from under his algae-encrusted rock to set everyone straight in the comments section:

That's funny, I could have sworn you were talking about the left and their endless hypocrisy. Everything you accuse Bush of doing in the US are the exact same things that your Mini-me heros in Cuba and Venezuela are guilty of. As for the rest of your childish rant (both you archer and the blog poster), I guess you've been swallowing too much of Michael Moore and Noam Chomskey's kool-aid.

Damn straight, Sham, you tell 'em. I mean, you let those BTs start thinking for themselves and drawing their own conclusions and, God only knows, next thing you'll have discussions full of nuance and balance and facts and all sorts of nasty, left-wing shit like that.

Best to nip that sort of thing in the bud early. It's just easier on the intellect.

You're right, CC. Would Scooter adopt liberal talking points? Why can't all conservatives be stand up guys like Scooter?

I [didn't] like how that shit-head called it a "childish rant."

They use the same words as we do, don't they? But they must have completely different meanings?
